Privacy policy

DGWLKR is an app that dog walking businesses use to run their walks and that families use to follow along. DGWLKR is made by DJBOY LLC ("we"). This page explains what information the app keeps and why.

What we keep

• Sign-in: your name and the email or phone number you sign in with.
• For families: your address, your dogs' names, notes, medicine and vaccine dates, your vet and emergency contact, and door or key information. Door information is stored encrypted, and every time staff open it, it is logged.
• Walks: dates and times, report cards, photos the walker takes, and the walk route while a walk is in progress.
• Location: only the walker's phone shares location, and only while a walk is in progress, to draw the route for the family. We don't track anyone at other times.
• Payments: card and bank payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card or bank numbers. We keep amounts, dates and whether a bill is paid.
• Messages between you and your walking business.

Who can see it

Your information is visible to the dog walking business you use and the walkers they assign to you. Walkers only see the families they walk for. Businesses can't see each other's information. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or advertising tools.

Service providers

We use Amazon Web Services to host the app and its data in the United States, Stripe for payments, and Apple and Google to deliver notifications to your phone.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. Walk photos and history are kept so you and your walker can look back at them. When an account is deleted, personal information is removed and only anonymous walk history stays with the business for its records.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time: Settings → Delete my account. You can also ask us through the support form.

Children

DGWLKR is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
